New Street

Deptford

Addressed in New Street that later became Armada Street and only found to date from between 1790 and 1826. This street no longer exists; it ran north to south from McMillan Street to Trevithick Street between Watergate Street and Deptford Green.

Further information says Henry Hopkins (clockmaker of Deptford) 1754-1831 left a will which mentioned his share of 'The Black Swan'.

The building has been demolished but I do not yet know when.
