NEW LICENCE FOR RAMSGATE HOTEL.

Successful application for a new restricted licence for premises on Ramsgate's East Cliff was made at the adjourned borough Brewster Sessions, on Friday.

Business was disposed of in a little over half-an-hour and there was no opposition to any of the applications before the justices.

Application for the new licence, in respect of "St. Placid's Hotel," was made by Mr. G. Goodhart on behalf of Mr. William John Pearson. Mr. Goodhart asked for facilities to serve alcoholic refreshment with meals to residents in the hotel and visitors only.

The licence was granted subject to the submission of a further plan of the public accommodation at the hotel before the confirmation sessions on 1st April.
