PUB LIST PUBLIC HOUSES Paul Skelton

Earliest 1861-

Sir Charles Napier

Latest 1861+

(Name to?)

Erith Road

Crayford

It is suggested that this pub changed name to the "Horse and Groom."

Sir Charles James Napier, was born on August 10, 1782, in London, England and died August 29, 1853 in Portsmouth, Hampshire. He was a British general, who conquered Sind in 1843 (now in Pakistan) and served as its governor from between 1843 and 1847.

I have just added this pub to that list but your help is definitely needed regarding it's history.

As the information is found or sent to me, including photographs, it will be shown here.

Thanks for your co-operation.
