Only one reference to this pub has been found to date. That was from the census of 1851 when James Stickells was a Beer House Keeper situated in Hawkesbury Street. He was living there with his wife, Charlotte, three daughters and two sons, also his father-in-law, Jack Kingsland, a widow age 87 and one lodger.
