Not really a public house but a cafe come restaurant with a drinks license, found to be operating in 1930.

From the Whitstable Times and Tankerton Press, Saturday 12 April 1930.

The Justices also confirmed the licence granted by the St. Augustine’s Magistrates in respect of the "Cafe Tudor and Restaurant," 4 and 5, Promenade Central, Herne Bay.

Mr. A. K. Mowll, who appeared to make the application, said that the monopoly value had been agreed at £2,000 — the first instalment to be paid on the taking out of the licence, and £400 to be paid on October 1st of each succeed year.

The license was confirmed.
