The pub changed name from the "Hare and Hounds" in the summer of 2015 and is being run by the same people who are also running the "Oyster Pearl" at Seasalter. Certainly open in 2017, but I am informed that it closed at the end of 2018. Latest news in September 2019 is that the acre of land adjoining the pub has been sold, probably to a developer who will build houses upon it.
After closing its doors in December 2018 I am informed by Rory Kehoe, that the pub is to re-open again on 13th December 2021 with a new-old name of the "Hare."
