Most of the census named this pub as the "Waggon and Horses" however the census of 1851 appeared to call the pub the "Waggon and Sherriff."

To be SOLD by AUCTION, By AYERST and REIVE,

On Wednesday the 7th of May, 1806; unless previously disposed of by private contract, of which notice will be given.

AT the "Waggon and Horses" Public-house, in Monkery, in the parish of Westwell, at four o'clock in the afternoon, subject to such conditions as shall be then and there produced.

A Freehold Cottage, Stable, about 3 Acres of Wood Land, and 17 Acres of Meadow ditto, lying in the parish of Challock, neaar to Snoad-street, Throwley.

Mrs. Wood, the tenant, will show the premises.

Immediate possession may be had of part, and the remains' at Michaelmas next, and for further particulars apply to Mr. Daniel Young, miller, Kennington.
