John Chittenden, of Loose, beer-house keeper, was fined 20s. and 15s. 6d. costs, for keeping his house open after 10 o’clock at night on the 17th of January.

Not sure if this is the same, but there was a John Chittenden listed as licensee of the "General Monch" addressed as Maidstone.

James Hunter, beer sellar at Loose, was convicted for having his house open for the sale of beer after 12:30 on Sunday evening, September 12th, and having been before convicted, he was no fined £5 and 11s. costs.
