9 Globe Lane Chatham
Pigot's Directory of 1828 and 1832 call this the "Old St. George."
I am informed that the pub closed about 1972 and was demolished shortly afterwards to make way for the Chatham town centre road scheme which created the ring road and Pentagon centre. It was noted for its ornate mirrors and pianola at the bar.
