The Licensing Records of 1872 stated the premises held a Beer License and was owned by Benjamin Mannering of 2 Elizabeth Terrace Luton Road.

I have found four pubs with the same name. One being the "New Inn" 60 John Street, the other being the "New Inn" of 218 High Street, the third being the "New Inn" of 291 Luton Road and the fourth being the "New Inn" addressed as Ordnance Place.

This pub is one in the list of my "Project 2014."

I will be adding the historical information when I find or are sent it, but this project is a very big one, and I do not know when or where the information will come from.

All emails are answered.
