Saturday. (Before the Mayor and a full bench of magistrates.)

George Herbert, landlord of the "Cossack" in Delce-lane, John Leach, beer-seller, of the same place, and Thomas Simmons, of the "Man of Kent," John-street, Troy Town, severally appeared to summonses upon information's laid by Superintendent Tuff, for retailing beer to several persons in the morning of Sunday, the 20th Nov. instant, during the hours of divine service. The cases were fully proved, and the defendants were convicted in the following sums, including costs:— Hobart 3s., Leach 5s., and Simmons 3s.
