They were also short-listed for Alfresco Dining Pub of the Year.

Project 2014 has been started to try and identify all the pubs that are and have ever been open in Kent. I have just added this pub to that list but your help is definitely needed regarding it's history.

As the information is found or sent to me, including photographs, it will be shown here.

Thanks for your co-operation.

Where : Tea Garden Lane, Tunbridge Wells TN3 9JH.

What : This pub on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells is stylish inside and out.

If you choose to take shelter inside the building there are many different eating areas, accompanied by fireplaces with roaring fires.

What's more, the pub has stunning views over acres of rolling countryside, so you can gaze at the frozen landscape while you keep toasty and warm.

The food here is also well regarded, so it's a great place for the full winter warmer experience.
