Above sign left 2015, kindly sent by Brian Curtis. Sign right 2026, and John Pearce says, "sadly not of the "Bailiffs Sergeant" but of Danish born navigator and explorer Vitas Bering (1681-1741), wearing his Russian naval officer's uniform with a crown tipstaff.
