Greenwich

Mitre 1967

Above photo 1967. Also showing the "White Hart" right.

In 1869-70 the pub was part of a consortium who were advertising their goods of selling tea in response to grocers' selling beer and wine. (Click for further details.)

In 1891 census, the address is at Grafton Terrace. Earlier at 139 Tunnel Avenue. This pub is now closed and used as a nightclub.

This pub has been changing name quite a bit during the 2000s. In 2011 it was known as "That," and I am informed that it has changed name again this time to "Studio."

Local knowledge required to keep up with this one, please.
