I have reference to an "Admiral Napier" as early as 1861, which may or may not be the same as this pub.

Also addressed as 1 Napier Terrace, Lower Woolwich Road before 1896.

Planning permission was granted in 2014 to demolish and build a mixed use 4-storey building over basement comprising Restaurant on ground and lower ground floors and 9 flats above.

The pub is now (2016) closed and used as a cafe, the building was demolished in 2016 and a new premises erected on the same foundations, and when opened was a Spa and Beauty shop called Haven.
