Originally called the "Prince Alfred" the pub changed name some time during the 1990's, to the "Dog and Bone."

The pub was demolished at the end of 2010 and is still (2021) a wasteland.

Police and fire crews outside The Dog and Bone pub.

Firefighters are at the scene of a former pub in Gillingham following reports of a "dangerous structure".

Police have cordoned off the area around The Dog & Bone in Jeffery Street.

Two fire engines and a height vehicle are present.

Crews were called just after 5pm and remain at the scene.
