Above photo, 1966. Kindly sent by John Hopkins who says:- The picture was taken around 1966. That’s me on the right, next to my dad and mum, and grandad serving. It was a Courage pub with a big room upstairs that he let out to the Freemasons and others. The Plumstead casuals football team were also regulars.

 

Project 2014 has been started to try and identify all the pubs that are and have ever been open in Kent. I have just Started to map out the pubs that exist or existed in Plumstead, but need local knowledge and photographs, old and current if you have any.
