135 Rochester Road Gravesend
Originally built in 1934 as the "Dickens Inn" but closed under that name for a year in 1985. 1986 saw it open under this name, but unsociable behaviour from the clientele ensured its days were numbered and it finally closed just two years later in 1988. The building was finally demolished in 1996 as part of a regeneration scheme for the area, and as far as I know still remains undeveloped today. (2014). By 2018 I am informed that flats have at last been built on the foundations.
