Brewery Tap

I have seen this with the title of the "Park Brewery Tap," in Cage Lane in 1866, if indeed that is the same pub. I am informed that Cage Lane changed name to Lakedale Road in 1905.

Charles Beasley would have owned the brewery in Lakeland Road which was opened in 1900 and continued under his sons reign when he died in 1923 to 1963 when they sold out to Messrs Courage, Barclay & Simonds Ltd who closed this brewery as is usually the case in 1965. The council bought the site, demolished the brewery and built flats on the area.
