PUB LIST PUBLIC HOUSES Paul Skelton

Earliest 1635

Blew (Blue) Boars Head

Latest 1795

High Street

Gravesend

This pub has been recorded as being in the High Street, but with no exact address, so that could indicate that the pub has been renamed or that the records are incorrect or incomplete.

It is described as being the east side of the High Street, and could be what is now "Ground Zero." If that is the case it can also be traced back to being the "Swan" as early as 1462.

Project 2014 has been started to try and identify all the pubs that are and have ever been open in Kent. I have just started to map out the pubs that exist or existed in Gravesend, but need local knowledge and photographs, old and current if you have any.

As the information is found or sent to me, including photographs, it will be shown here.

Thanks for your co-operation. Every email is answered and all information referenced to the supplier.

This page will be updated as soon as further information is found.
