I am informed that the building has been demolished and is now part of the Lord Street Car Park.

There used to be a slaughter-house at the rear of the pub.

DEATHS.

On the 24th December, after a short illness, of bronchitis, William Bennett, of the "Anchor and Hope," Lord Street, Gravesend, aged 59.
