Above Google image June 2019. I believe you can see from the photographs that the house in the distance on the right hand side of the road is the same as in the old pic at least it looks like it from the roof and chimney stack. You can also see the shiplap house to the left of both pics.

 

There was once a "Bull Inn" at Boughton, the parish registers record two people dying there at the latter end of the 16th century (1582 & 1584). There is still a Bull Lane in the village, at the corner of which stands the former "Dolphin Inn." It is possible that this is the same location and that the pub changed names.

Further information from Michael Mirams tells me that this is not correct. The "Bull" and "Dolphin Inn" are indeed different buildings. The "Bull" was demolished from between 1904 and 1909.

Frances Holliday believes the "Bull" was on the opposite corner to the "Dolphin," both opposite the "Three Squirrels" in Boughton Street.
