Above postcard circa 1913, kindly sent by Rory Kehoe. Russell's Gravesend Brewery. As this photograph was taken at around the same time as new licensee, Henry Tyler, took over the Sun, it's possible that he used the image on publicity postcards advertising his business. As the signage proclaims, the Sun was a tied house, within the estate of Russell's Gravesend Brewery and sold their Shrimp Brand Ales.
