For some reason this was called both the "Grapes" and the "Prince Regent" and was listed as both in the 1851 census. I am not sure whether it changed name from one to the other or just had two names. However, this can't be in both Blue Town and Mile Town at the same time. Something wrong here.

Sheerness, Kent. Freehold public house.

Situated at Sheerness, in the Isle of Sheppey, in the county of Kent, called the "Prince Regent," now on lease to Mr. William Hammond at £52 per annum, with an additional yearly rent of £48 in case of war.

Which will be sold by auction, by Mr. J. B. Rose. At the Court of Commissioners of Bankrupt in Basinghall Street, London before the 5th list of Commissioners, by direction of the Agents of Charles Wilton, a bankrupt, on Tuesday, 23rd March, 1830, at Two o'clock precisely.

May be viewed with leave of the tenant, and printed particulars had on the premises; of Messrs. Bartlett and Beddome, Solicitors, 27, Nicholas Lane; Mr. Miller, Solicitors, Bedford Row, London; at the "Fountain," Sheerness; "Rose," Sittingbourne; "Ship," Faversham; "Fleur-de-Lis," Canterbury; "Bell," Maidstone; "Ship," Chatham; and of the Auctioneer, No. 23, South Molton, and 111, Aldergate Street, London.
