The pub closed in early 2010 only to open again in September of that year but alas I am informed that in February 2012 it closed again, rumoured to be converted into  a drop-in centre.

Mind you, looking at the picture of 2020, it still looks like a pub albeit a very dilapidated one.

I have just been informed by Gary Bacon (July 2023) that the pub is indeed open and owned by the licensee of the "Plough and Chequers." If fact further research says it was open in 2017 onwards.
