This was the home of the New Northfleet Brewery Co, Dover Road, Northfleet, Kent. Registered July 1889 as Pope & Co. Ltd. The name changed to the Northfleet Brewery Co. Ltd April 1894 and this company was liquidated in March 1899. Succeeded by the partnership of Barkway & Hitchcock under the above title. It was acquired by the Dartford Brewery Co. Ltd. 1908 with 13 houses. I am assuming the brewery tap was was a tap room to the brewery.
