Orr's Kentish Journal, 20 December 1862.

William Lyons, a carter, living in Cage-lane, Plumstead, was charged with assaulting Mr. Bishop, landlord of the "Prince of Wales," Woolwich. The prisoner refused to turn out on Saturday night and struck Mr. Bishop, giving him a black eye.

Fined 10s. or 10 days.
