Six Bells 1900

Above photo, circa 1900.

The death report of Edward Strong in 1851 called this the "Seven Bells," so I don't know whether it changed name or not yet. As it was probably named after the number of bells at the nearby church, I need to know whether the church has had a bell removed also.

Described as a beer house I am informed that the pub closed in 1909 and has been demolished.

Kentish Gazette, 11 November 1851.
